Healing Your Heart Chakra With Crystal and Color Therapy

Updated: Aug 24

The Heart Chakra is most likely to be the most popular chakra that everyone knows and is self explanatory with what its focus is. This chakra is placed smack in the middle of the body. That’s where the loving energy is, supposed to be right in the middle so it’s front and center and is in between all the other chakras. Because love is what’s important, it’s what keeps it altogether. Love is currency. Love is what everyone wants. No matter what anyone says, we came into this world as loving beings. Unfortunately, it is something that is lost along the way into childhood, adolescence and adulthood. But there is always the opportunity to turn that around.

We’re at a very precarious time now in our lives, which we should as a whole, cultivate love back into all our lives. To help revive or save your heart chakra, these are the following heart chakra stones to help create a constant steady flow.

Popular Heart Chakra Stones

Green Calcite- It encourages forgiveness of oneself and others and brings softness to the heart, stimulating compassion. Known to be used amongst healers during healing heart chakra sessions.

Rose Quartz- Rose Quartz is the stone of universal love. It restores trust and harmony in relationships, encouraging unconditional love. This more gentler stone purifies and opens the heart at all levels to promote love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace.

Pink Calcite- Like all calcites, It is an excellent tool to use with energy healing such as Reiki because of its ability to amplify energy. Pink Calcite is a calming stone that eases and heals the heart chakra.

Rhodonite- Rhodonite is a stone of compassion, an emotional balancer that clears away emotional wounds and scars from the past, and also nurtures love. A energetically potent stone that stimulates, clears and activates the heart.

Unakite- This Heart Chakra stone helps the soul to move on from past limiting beliefs that has us hanging on to the past and to finally show that every human deserves love, we are all God's children. Influential stone to have in home or the workplace permeating peaceful vibes throughout. Balances the emotional and spiritual bodies to help let go of energetic blockages. Facilitates feelings of love and friendship

Color Therapy and Flowers

Pink and green are the optimal colors to have around in your house. This also includes the clothes you wear, jewelry, pink and green color baths, and even eating certain colored foods more; watermelon, strawberries and all green vegetables. These daily intentions to take part of everyday will help your heart chakra show positive changes.

Carnations is known as incarnation and also symbolizes the crown. Which are perfect for healing the heart chakra because the carnation reminds us all that we’re worthy and deserving of love. There is not a single person on this planet that isn’t deserving of love. We are all God’s children and therefore we are all entitled to receiving and accepting love.

I love adding flowers in the same color as the corresponding chakra right on my night table. Having the colors be the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see before going to sleep, keeps the healing to continue.

Heart Chakra Healing Exercise

My favorite exercise for working on my heart chakra is grabbing one of the heart chakra stones -Sit down or lay down and place the stone on the heart chakra. I’ll close my eyes and visualize pink and/or green light surrounding the heart chakra. For at least 20 minutes.

This can really jumpstart the healing energy around this epicenter chakra. Since the heart chakra is the fourth chakra, I like to do this exercise for four days straight, 20 minutes a day, focusing on healing and clearing the heart chakra. Commiting to this, has helped me get clarity and work on some dwelling emotional issues.
